That would rock. There are again two issues: (a) adding whatever is
needed to the stock kernels and rescue disk, and (b) getting
dbootstrap to interact with that.
I'm not really sure how it should work. Perhaps when you select
"configure the network" it should ask whether or not to look for a
bootp/dhcp server (i.e., send broadcasts) or else configure manually
as normal. If bootp/dhcp fails, again, configure network manually.
That's my guess anyway. Perhaps if we are already TFTP/NFSRoot
installing, we *already* are assuming a bootp server at least (and
have received via rarp our IP) and thus we could use that
automatically?
Anyhow.... lots and lots of issues. I want us to be feature complete
by end of Nov, which gives us 2-3 weeks to complete this stuff so we
can kick it over to debian-testing.
