Bug#47235: boot-floppies: need to build Compaq Smart Array not as module
Package: boot-floppies
Version: 2.1.9
To be able to install on a compaq smart array the driver needs to be built into the kernel and also needs the devices under the /dev/ida to be created. A workaround could be to have the user copy a custom built kernel onto the boot disk, however I believe the /dev/ida files still need to be created in the ramdisk image.
Also lilo needs to be fixed so that it can boot, I have already submitted a bug report against lilo.
