Bug#46533: This should explain several of the reported floppy-boot failures

Further to my last msg (where I reported success after switching to syslinux
1.43-2).

I just checked the RedHat 6.0 boot floppy, the one that works on every
machine I tested it on. It says it's using version "1.43" of syslinux. I
don't have a Caldera or SuSe CD handy right now but it's worth checking
versions on those, too (if they use "syslinux" that is).

Looks like we have some evidence in favor of an "unofficial update" for
slink - i.e. a rescue floppy built using syslinux 1.43-2.
