RedHat Anaconda and graphical install
Anyone evaluated RedHat's Anaconda (new installation program in
Python/Gtk for 6.1)? I'm downloading it right now, will tell
you what I think.
What are the chances that we use it as our graphical
installation option? Then we can keep a team of hackers
improving dbootstrap, since less people will be required to
make the graphical install work. (The way I see it, you'd boot
the CD with some loadlin parameter to run dbootstrap, or use a
different boot floppy; otherwise it goes to the graphical one)
Of course this probably isn't going to work too well for
potato. If we can get it working in time to include it, fine,
but surely not make it the default.
