X-Mailer: bug 3.1.2

Package: rootdisk
Version: 1998-04-11

Installing hamm, I configured the network - it's going to be a null modem
cable with ppp running on it. I set up the ip address, default gateway, etc.
It asked what type of network, I said ppp. It said, I'll have to configure
something by hand for ppp. All ok so far.

Then, it spammed the screen with what looked like it trying to initialize
the network and failing. The text overwrote the nice dialogs, and looked
nasty. As far as I can tell, it's just a cosmetic problem.
