Bug#23077: no lilo after disk-install-boot
Sorry it has taken us so long to respond to this bug.

I'm afraid I don't understand the nature of this report. As I
understand it, you had the base system installed under /target, and
you had to run the lilo from the base system in order to recover.
Naturally, you'll have to either chroot yourself into /target or set
LD_LIBRARY_PATH in order to run some stuff from /target. I don't
really see what the boot-floppies bug is here or how we could alter
that situation.
