You have a point.  However, what I propose is that we actually move
the "profiles and tasks" stuff out of boot-floppies and into
independantly maintained "meta" packages.

The fact is, the tasks and profiles scheme is problematic since, after
installation, there is no way to maintain or rechoose tasks and
profiles.

Regarding the computation of the size of the installed profiles, etc,
this issue would then become much more difficult to deal with....
