Bug#34949: 3c509 driver

adam-

i was using the non-tecra disks on an i386 platform (nec powermate 350mhz pentium II). unfortunately, i had to move along with getting that machine configured so i adopted a different tack and can't replicate the error at this point, although it was consistent with each installation. (each time i tried i got the same error.) i have another unconfigured machine with the same components...if i have time later in the week i will attempt to recreate it on that machine.

Sorry it's taken us a while to respond. I'd like to ask some followup
questions:

What platform are you on? I would assume i386. Were you using the
tecra or the non-tecra disks?

Can you type in the exact error message?
