Bug#24539: marked as done (No dns. Can't resolve names.)

and subject line lack of submitter followup, closing very old bugs
has caused the attached bug report to be marked as done.

This means that you claim that the problem has been dealt with.
If this is not the case it is now your responsibility to reopen the
bug report if necessary, and/or fix the problem forthwith.

talking about this indicates a serious mail system misconfiguration
somewhere.  Please contact me immediately.)

There was nothing in the install to set up /etc/resolv.conf
when installing from CD.

I installed from the Cheapbytes CD and installed wvdial. -Jeff
