as you may have seen, no tag, no upload... yes, someone stopped me. ;-)
Herbert uploaded a bunch of new kernels using the latest version of the
Adaptec SCSI drivers, so I'm back to step 1, building a new set of
floppies. Herbert has also uploaded a kernel with all the SCSI drivers
compiled as modules. It's a little kernel (~400 KB) so I guess that means
no more problems with bzImage for laptops.
I'll try to upload a prerelease to my webpages this morning, but the link
is full to capacity. Right now >60% of my IP packets to master.debian.org
get lost in the sea.
I guess it would be better if I could use an account on UK as a sort of
"proxy" (the Spain-UK and UK-US links are wide enough currently). A
machine connected to lonman.net.uk would be a dream, netcom.net.uk would
be ok too.
Anyone on UK willing to donate a shell account or set up that wierd proxy
for me?
