Bug#32581: strange output on tty1 on PCMCIA network config
Package: boot-floppies
Version: 2.1.5
The following output comes up after doing, in order:
1. configure pcmcia
2. configure the network
3. select pcmcia as network device, media selection 'auto'
cardmgr[2041]: shutting down socket 1
cardmgr[2041]: executing: './network stop eth0'
cardmgr[2041]: + fgrep: not found
!!!!!!!
...
cardmgr[2041]: executing: 'rmmod pcnet_cs'
cardmgr[2041]: executing: 'rmmod 8390'
cardmgr[2041]: exiting
copy of /etc/resolv.conf to /target/etc/resolv.conf would copy file to itself.
insmod: /target/lib/modules/2.0.36/pcmcia/pcmcia_core.o: a module named
pcmcia_core already exists
insmod: /target/lib/modules/2.0.36/pcmcia/i82365.o: a module named i82365
already exists
insmod: /target/lib/modules/2.0.36/pcmcia/ds.o: a module named ds already
exists
cardmgr[2042]: starting, version is 3.0.5
cardmgr[2042]: watching 2 sockets
cardmgr[2042]: initializing socket 1
cardmgr[2042]: socket 1: Kingston KNE-PCM/x Ethernet
then something I can't catch as the dbootstrap screen comes back
then, writing over the dbootstrap screen:
cardmgr[2092]: executing: './network start eth0'
cardmgr[2092]: + ioctl: Invalid argument
cardmgr[2092]: + ./network: /sbin/ifuser: not found
Obviously, some problems here. Also, the stuff should come up on
tty3, not tty1.
