selecting cdrom when there is none doesn't error quite right

On a laptop (no CD-ROM, no scsi), do the following during installation

Select "Install the base system" step
Pick cdrom
Pick /dev/scd0 (SCSI CD-ROM, yes, I know it's wrong)
-> "No SCSI adapter" message comes up

[here where the bug starts]

-> "Please insert the CD-ROM" message comes up
-> "Mount failed" comes up

  Shouldn't we error out after that first error?

----

Lets try other bad stuff:

Select "Install the base system" step
Pick "/dev/fd1" (no I don't have a second floppy)
-> get kicked back to the Main Menu

  Shouldn't I get an "Problem" message?
