In this case, I vote for 'terrible mess'. It's probably the explanation for
some of my master2files problems, too. Someone built apt with the wrong libs
in place I guess.
Goes to prove that master needs to be generated from the corresponding
arch's
Packages, right?

Yep, that's all very nice, but look at the m68k packages file, that's the
one I have to wrestle with :-)

Same story, I bet. Someone should go over all arch's dependencies and jot up
those packages that dont' match (wonder if one of James' miracle scripts
does
just that already?).
