Subject: base disks still install part packages

Package: base
Version; 1996_6_11

I've just installed from these disks, and I notice that dpkg thinks I
don't have a kernel installed. "dpkg -l `kernel*'" produces a list of
a few packages, all in state `un'.

Ian.
