Matthew, I don't understand your error.  Did you follow the instructions
in the Installation Manual regarding how to write the disks?

You indeed have to use a special method to write the floppies out.
You can't just copy the .bin files to the floppy; that won't work.
Again, the Installation Manual describes how to do this in either
DOS or Unix.
