Re: propose creation of a debian-rescue blend

I just found this new MX Workbench respin iso based on Mepis.

Here's the current list of packages that they use:

Just in case it can help you.

Hello,

I have been involved in a discussion on the debian-live list for the
last week or two concerning the old debian-rescue livecd, and based on
that discussion it seems like converting debian-rescue to a blend is a
more appropriate direction to go.

I am willing to take the lead on this effort, but I will definitely
need some help along the way since I haven't ever worked with a blend
nor do I completely understand what is involved in setting one up.
I have read the blends manual already, but admittedly I am a little
confused on the best way to get started.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sincerely,
Donald Raikes
