I have not tried but I do not see any reason why not.  Just provide an
apropriate sources.list file as it is for instance done in the Debian
Edu sources (see SVN or source package).
Ok cool. Where should that sources.list file be placed? And how does that magic work e.g. that the sources.list is used when generating the package?
