Re: Debian Custom devcamp?

At the deadline, 15 people had reported their interest. Can anyone
calculate the center of mass for this group of people? Looking at the
locations, I suspect Andreas is right that somewhere in UK close to
Heathrow/Stansted is a good place to hold it, but have not ruled out
the other locations. On the other hand, if we meet on the main land,
more people can use train/car/bus to get there. Unless someone got
good contacts in these areas, I'll try to contact the unix/linux user
groups when I know the center of mass for the group.

I suspect we need to plan this well ahead, and propose March as the
gathering month. (January will probably have a debian-edu devcamp, so
I want to stay away from that month. :)

So, how do we proceed from here? We need a more detailed budget,
estimating travel cost, accommodation and food. We also need a
statement on what we should work on at the devcamp. This might make
it easier to convince sponsors to fund it. Any volunteers for this?

We need to find a location, and book it for the meeting, and everyone
need to book holidays and tickets when the sponsoring is in place.
