Indeed. We also investigated the opensource ndis wrapper solutions forbinaries to little avail. Maybe that's why Prism 2 and Atheros (MAD-wifi)support is getting progressively more open; manufacturers are starting toposition themselves for something new... (MIMO? WiMax?)

Of course, the Prism 2 chip set is getting pretty old andhoary. Globespan Virata has really moved on to newer higher integrationchipsets, and which are harder to get useful information about...Marketing & manufacturing oriented NDAs tend not to be compatible withopensource driver development.
