Re: Bootp/TFTP Questions



Looks like your tftpd isn't responding. Are you running it with tcpwrappers
so that the attempted connection is logged? Is your client in
/etc/hosts.allow? Is the kernel image world readable?

Slightly off topic, but if you haven't already bought all your NICs, 
you might want to look at http://www.disklessworkstations.com/ to get
boot ROMs. That's what I'm using: much more elegant than the floppy-disk
method. I don't think they have 'em for the EtherExpress, though.
