Bug / Regression report: bullseye-backports kernel 5.15.0-0.bpo.3-amd64 kills Apple Magic Mouse 2 scrolling functionality
Dear all,
according to https://backports.debian.org/FAQ/, bugs found in packages
from backports should be reported to the debian-backports mailing list.
I would therefore like to report what I suspect is a bug or regression
in the current bullseye-backports kernel 5.15.0-0.bpo.3-amd64: Booting
5.15.0-0.bpo.3-amd64 obviously kills the scrolling functionality of my
Apple Magic Mouse 2. While movements and clicks continue to function
normally, all scroll functionality is gone. Machine is a Fujitsu
Lifebook E5510, 'uname -r' output is
5.15.0-0.bpo.3-amd64
According to /var/log/dpkg.log, I've installed the relevant packages
yesterday, which coincidences with the loss of scrolling functionality:

When I boot the *previous* bullseye-backports kernel
5.15.0-0.bpo.2-amd64, the Apple Magic Mouse 2's scrolling functionality
returns immediately, so the problem is reproducible.
Thank you very much.
With best regards
