libreoffice-common: package conflicts
Subject: libreoffice-common: package conflicts
Package: libreoffice-common
X-Debbugs-Cc: efa@iol.it
Version: 7.0.4-4+deb11u1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
I Tryed to install LibreOffice together OpenOffice 4.1.12
$ sudo apt install libreoffice-common
Installing LibreOffice with apt ask to remove OpenOffice
as it has set this:
Conflicts: openoffice-unbundled
in package definitions
The message is:
libreoffice-common conflicts with openoffice.org-unbundled
This is happen also forcing LibreOffice version to:
7.1.5-2~bpo11+1
7.3.3~rc1-2~bpo11+1
LibreOffice and OpenOffice should coexist
Why the package LibreOffice has set:
Conflicts: openoffice.org-unbundled
?
What is the exact reasor for this?
On Debian 10 can be installed both from .deb packages,
here on Debian 11 as workaround I had to use the AppImage,
but this is not optimal
