It is not suitable for a Backport, but is a storage for Debian packages built directly from the source of any kernel and kernel pre-release, maybe including a few Ubuntu patches. Normally it works fine out-of-the-box so if someone has hardware too new for Debian I always recommend installing a kernel from this ppaand trying if doing so helps.
