Request for git backport to buster

Dear git maintainers,

Recent git-annex requires git >=2.22.  Could you upload a backport of
recent git to buster-backports, so that I can update the backport of
git-annex (which already exists), please?

I'd be happy to do this myself if you don't want to maintain it.
