can you be more specific on this?
What executable binary you are missing exactly?
The rebuild for stretch-backport is the technically the same build as
for unstable except the build environment, no packages are removed nor
any related changes did happen that would effect a dropping of a binary.

You are talking about binary packages here or what do you mean?
kicad-common is a virtual and transitional package since version 5.0.0.

Have you generated a debdiff between your packages and the packages in
the archive so we can see what you have changed? Or at least a diff off
your working tree against the branch debian/stretch from the packaging
tree on Salsa?
