archive.debian.org jessie-backports expired?

Hi folks,

jessie-backports/InRelease claims it's expired:

  curl -s http://archive.debian.org/debian/dists/jessie-backports/InRelease | grep  Valid-Until
  Valid-Until: Tue, 19 Feb 2019 20:25:43 UTC

... and, if I try to use it:

  E: Release file for http://archive.debian.org/debian/dists/jessie-backports/InRelease is expired (invalid since 31d 0h 42min 53s). Updates for this repository will not be applied.

Is there something off with the backports archive, or am I using this incorrectly? Am I asking at the right place?
