if this [1] is the CVE you are referring to, a backport exception has been granted for kodi, so
a 16.1+fix will be uploaded shortly.

In the near future 17.1/17.3 will reach backports, but for now the amount of libraries that needs testing/rebuilds
is just too high to delay that CVE fix.
