5.2?! Hmm, https://packages.debian.org/jessie-backports/libhyperscan4
seems to suggest that the jessie-backports version of libhyperscan4
depends on version 4.9 or later -- which is even in jessie!

For me your latest state in the suricata debian/jessie-backports repo
builds with no problem in a recent jessie cowbuilder environment.
The only thing I could think of is that perhaps a more recent version
built against sid (somewhere in a local repo?) is pulled into your
backports build by mistake? Just guessing...
