jessie backport / stable update of schroot

It turns out all of my jessie machines need backported kernels, which (I
think) means I can't you use union-type=overlayfs. The version of sid is
not installable in jessie (at least) because of the great C++
transition. I guess it might or might not be acceptable from backports
ftp-masters point of view. On the one hand, it's a bug fix, on the other
hand, it's a bug that only occurs in stable+backports.

Are there any plans for such a backport? If not, and if backports
ftp-masters don't veto, I could have a look at it. I'll probably try
for my own use anyway.
