There's also no hardware acceleration for Volcanic Islands family for LLVM < 3.6.1. Having LLVM-3.7 in jessie-backports would be really nice for radeonsi users but it isn't a hard requirement to backport mesa at all. @LLVM Packaging Team: How hard would it be to backport LLVM-3.7 to jessie-backports?
