Thank you. Let's see how it goes when 0.80.7 migrate to "testing".
Building backport should be trivial as it needs no changes. I shall be happy
to backport in about two weeks from now if everything goes well.

Thanks for telling me about 0.80.7 release -- there were no official
announcement yet and tarball just appeared in the download area (I've checked
some hours ago and it wasn't there)...

I presume there will be stable updates. I don't know how they will be handled
yet. I'd prefer to upload 0.80.x versions as they are very conservative
updates to long-term stable release but cherry-picking will do as well if
release team insist...
