Well, I was going to upload a backport of rsyslog v7 anyway, that's why
I had started uploading librelp to bpo and poking Pierre about a bpo
upload for libestr.
I wouldn't have been bothered if rsyslog had been accepted fwiw, but a
quick email beforehand would be nice to e.g. avoid duplicate work.
I'm very open to backports, as I think it's a nice service for our
users. We just need to make sure we don't do it too much in an
uncoordinated way (without the inclusion of the individual package
maintainer for example).
