I guess cat(1)ing together the (uncompressed) Packages files
for squeeze and squeeze-backports of a given architecture,
piping the result into “edos-debcheck -failures -explain”,
would work as well. (That’s how I check the m68k repos.)

In fact, this sounds like a good thing to do regularily,
for all combinations of release, security, updates,
backports and backports-sloppy that are allowed (e.g.
release must always be there, no backports-sloppy without
backports, etc). How would one go to implement it?
