There are already two reports for this:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=628919
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=628919

The second even mentions the backports kernel.

In SUA 25-1 a new 'at' package was released for compatibility with a
upcoming wheezy kernel, so the same argument can be used for an
updated chrony package.

Should a new bug report be created, or who has to talk to whom to
make such an update possible in squeeze?

Regards,
Thomas
