Is it possible to get a backported kernel for Squeeze? I have the Ralink RT5390 in my HP laptop and the manufacturers drivers are a bit buggy?! I seem to lose my connection a lot, plus they don't compile from source on a stock stable system without some modifications to the source (yuck). Is there some technical reason why no newer kernel has been backported for some time?
