Re: wake-on-lan with 3.2.0-0.bpo.2 and 8139too

Hello,

thank you for your help. After entering the command:

Wake-on: d

changes to:

Wake-on: g

Then it goes to sleep and i would expect to wake-up now, but it doesn't. After running ethtool again, I can see that the Wake-on is d again.

Why doesn't:

iface eth0 inet dhcp
        ethernet-wol g
in /etc/network/interfaces work?

Best regards,
Andrej

Meaning wake-on-LAN is disabled.

What happens if you run 'ethtool -s eth0 wol g' in a shell (as root)?

Ben.
