If you use it from sid, you'll have to install the latest xorg (but it's ok). However, no need to use the backport if you follow this way as this is pinning.Did you use fglrx-modules from sid? For me, the version from squeeze does not build against linux-headers 2.6.38. Can you use fglrx-glx from sid in squeeze? Alternatively, you can use the script "sgfxi" to install the latest fglrx. However, to use it, you need the latest "fglrx-modules-dkms" for the driver to compile. |
