Re: Lenny Postfix 2.6.5 Backport request // successful
I would like Postfix 2.6 or newer backported to Lenny if possible ;-).
I have some backports at http://people.debian.org/~formorer/tmp/postfix.
They need some testing. Since I don't have time for testing, please test them
and give me feedback. Also available for amd64 under the same location.

I now have the main postfix 2.6.5 package working, and I fixed
the sasl authentication error I was having (my mistake!!).
SSL and STARTTLS is working, authentication going, multiple
instances working with puremessage and spamassassin.... Am
using check_policy_service and rbl lookups... All going fine
so far ;-).
As far as I can see it is all working with a somewhat complex
ruleset.
I have NOT tried the -mysql -pgsql or other such clever varieties,
just the basic postfix package that I use.
But, basically, it *seems* fine, but others may be using different /
more complicated virtual hosting configs which may be worth
testing!
Thankyou for providing it // hope my feedback is useful!
