Introducing new subscriber, interested in providing Subversion backports

Hi,

I'm a new member on this list, though I have used backports.org for
years. I'd like to express my gratitude to the backports.org team for
providing this truly indispensable and reliable service.

A little bit about myself: I've been using Debian in private and at work
ever since a libc upgrade in Slackware drove me to tears, in the
buzz/rex era. Professionally, I'm interested in optimizing and
automating processes in Software Development. My company offers
consulting, training and implementation in the area of Software
Configuration Management tools. We sponsor a few Subversion core
committers, and we have customers running Subversion on stable/stale
Debian and Ubuntu releases. Hence I have a strong need for up-to-date
and functional Subversion backports.

In the past, I have built custom, private backports. I finally feel
confident enough to offer to help with backports.org :)

I'm looking forward to joining the backports team.

Cheers,
