Reinhard,

I have submitted a backport of Subversion 1.6.4 today.

However, it is quite astonishing that nobody was interested in
sponsoring the update of Subversion 1.5.1 to Subversion 1.5.6.

The stock package in lenny (1.5.1dfsg1-4) is so buggy as to be virtually
useless for any non-trivial use case involving a lot of branching and
merging.

Actually, the same is true for the Subversion 1.6 series. I believe most
"lenny" users would be better off with an up-to-date Subversion 1.5
instead of Subversion 1.6.

Note that the bugs I'm talking about are "upstream" bugs, not Debian
package bugs per se.
