Security announcements for backports.org

Hi,

we created a new list "backports-security-announce" which should cover all
security announcements for bpo. Everybody who uploads a package to bpo which
fixes a security problem should send an announcement to the list.
The announcement should follow the attached template. Every mail to the list
will be moderated, so be a little bit patient if your post does not appear
immediately on the list. Please sign this mail with your gpg key which is in
the bpo keyring.

For the etch-backports distribution the problems have been fixed in version <packageversion>.

Upgrade instructions
--------------------

If you don't use pinning (http://backports.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=instructions) you have to update the package manually via apt-get -t etch-backports install <packagename>.

We recommend to pin the backports repository to 200 so that new versions of installed backports will be installed automatically.

  Package: *
  Pin: release a=etch-backports
  Pin-Priority: 200
