Everybody who uploads a package to bpo which fixes a security problem should send an announcement to the list. The announcement should follow the attached template. Every mail to the list will be moderated, so be a little bit patient if your post does not appear immediately on the list. Please sign this mail with your gpg key which is in the bpo keyring. For the etch-backports distribution the problems have been fixed in version <packageversion>. <other distributions if any> Upgrade instructions -------------------- If you don't use pinning (http://backports.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=instructions) you have to update the package manually via apt-get -t etch-backports install <packagename>.
