The problem will be, that the package is also listed on your site, if you 
maintained it only in <stable-1>-backports and this makes it not really easy 
to track your packages ... better would be a service provided by bpo (or what 
ever) where you can quickly compare the versions between <stable>-backports 
and testing like Daniel Baumann did it for sarge-backports and etch in the 
past.
