Etch getting out soon is not a reason to do useful stuff for sarge
backports. Sarge and machines running with it, and security for it, will
be around longer than it takes to release etch, it wont suddenly all
become useless just because a bunch of people can change their desktops
to etch.

It seems to me that the account creation step could be fully automated:
checking the box "approved by DAM" could trigger an insert into the LDAP
database thereby creating the account.
