request backport of lm-sensors because of i2c breakage in kernel

Hi all,
I'm wondering if lm-sensors maybe considered backported or not, because
of the fact that the i2c stuff in the current etch version seems not
compatible with the backported kernel (2.6.22), meaning that lm-sensors
aren't working at all if I'm correct.
