Thanks. I've installed the backport kernel today and the box is working
fine.

A last questiong: is the bug #401006 also fixed in the etch standard
kernel?

I've read http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=401006 but
quit 100% sure.
