Hmm. I missed this, and had I not recently moved to etch anyway would
have had a vulnerable installation for some time to come. Would it make
sense to have a backports-announce list for this sort of thing to be
posted -- eg moderated but with any relevant post being approved?
I would be happy to help with the moderation of such a list.
