Nmap DNS resolution screwed up

I've got nmap 4.00 installed on my powerpc box from backports. DNS
resolution for it seems to be a bit screwed up. It seems to be turning the
addresses around before doing resolution:

jeff@genie:~$ nmap -sL

Starting Nmap 4.00 ( http://www.insecure.org/nmap/ ) at 2006-03-17 00:19 PST
Host 85-95-173-134.saransk.ru ( not scanned
Nmap finished: 1 IP address (0 hosts up) scanned in 4.628 seconds
jeff@genie:~$ host domain name pointer 95-85.res.pomona.edu.
jeff@genie:~$ host domain name pointer 85-95-173-134.saransk.ru.
jeff@genie:~$ uname -a
Linux genie 2.6.8-powerpc #1 Thu Nov 24 00:17:15 UTC 2005 ppc GNU/Linux
jeff@genie:~$ dpkg -l nmap

||/ Name           Version        Description
ii nmap 4.00-1bpo1 The Network Mapper

Is anyone else seeing this problem?
