   Rawtran is a wrapper around DCRAW utility (by D.Coffin) intended
   to convert raw photos in .CR2, .CRW, MRW, NEF, RAF, etc. formats
   to the general astronomical FITS image format.
 
I developed this utility for astronomers which are interested
in photometry of their images captured with common digital
cameras. Rawtran keeps all the photometry content and converts
the frames to FITS format, which is, de facto, standard astronomical
format supported by all important astronomical processing utilities.

This is my first attempt to prepare an official Debian package.
