Re: Flood of messages in dmesg: "mv643xx_eth_port mv643xx_eth_port.0 eth0: failed to linearize skb with tiny unaligned fragment"

Hi.

Bumping up this issue, this is just a confirmation that this issue is
still present as for 4.18.0-2, flooding the kernel.

mv643xx_eth_port mv643xx_eth_port.0 eth0: failed to linearize skb with tiny unaligned fragment

I also confirm this issue is relatively easy to reproduce when hitting
the point load and a relevant network traffic is taking place.
In other words, this happens when you are transfering stuff through the
network and hitting storage.

I'm using a variant of the hardware mentioned, but mine runs the same
CPU on the Linkstation LS-WVL, which is 256MB ram, not 128M as the one
reported. I'm tempted to guess this occurs on mostly everyone running
kirkwoods.

Is there a way to mitigate this?

Cheers,
Dererk
